Tetra Tech wins eight-year contract to design Dayton, Ohio PFAS water treatment facility with projected USD 350 million build cost

Tetra Tech won a single-award, eight-year contract from the City of Dayton, Ohio to design a dedicated PFAS water treatment facility.
The project targets the Mad River Well Field, which supplies the Ottawa Water Treatment Plant producing 96 million gallons a day.
The planned facility carries a projected construction cost of USD 350 million. Work includes advanced PFAS treatment design to meet regulations, address aging infrastructure, and reduce long-term operating costs.
Dayton’s water system serves more than 430,000 people across the region.
