Teva, Trump administration pursue Medicaid drug pricing agreement under GENEROUS framework

Teva said it began talks with the Trump Administration on an agreement to cut Medicaid prices for select medicines in the U.S.

The framework would align Medicaid pricing with leading developed markets through Teva’s GENEROUS model. A prospective most-favored-nation commitment would apply to certain future innovative product launches.

The offer also includes a dedicated reserve of certain active pharmaceutical ingredients to support public health needs. Teva said it has also proposed continued investment in U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities, while final terms remain confidential.
