TGS approves 15-year gas transportation agreements with Pampa Energía
TGS•TGS approved two 15-year gas-service agreements with Pampa Energía, with operations expected to begin in April 2028. The agreements cover daily firm capacity of 8 million cubic meters at each of two sites, with El Mangrullo expandable to 10.5 million cubic meters.
1. Agreement details
The agreements involve Pampa Energía subsidiary Procesadora de Gas del Sur and cover integrated transportation, metering, dispatch and delivery services. Sierra Chata’s agreement provides firm capacity of 8 million cubic meters daily. El Mangrullo’s provides 8 million cubic meters daily, expandable to 10.5 million.
2. Pipeline connection
Infrastructure work will connect the Tratayén Plant to the San Matías Pipeline, with contracted connection capacity of 6 million cubic meters daily. Operations are expected to begin in April 2028.
