Huntington Ingalls Industries and Thales demonstrated an end-to-end autonomous mine countermeasure capability on Nov. 3, 2026. Thales’ Expeditionary PathMaster integrated the REMUS 620 underwater vehicle with detection, classification and neutralization systems in a unified operational workflow.
2. Expanded integration
The demonstration built on the partners’ 2025 sonar integration exercise, enabling allied navies to combine capabilities from multiple suppliers within a NATO-compliant environment.
