THORChain processed $2.82 billion in swap volume in Q1, with BTC-ETH swaps driving $980.9 million and $2.1 million in fees. The protocol launched native Solana support and confirmed upcoming Sui integration, paving the way for cross-chain swaps without wrapped tokens.
1. Robust Q1 Performance
THORChain recorded $2.82 billion in swap volume during the first quarter, generating $3.3 million in swap fees and $1.9 million in affiliate revenue. BTC-ETH remained the dominant route, accounting for $980.9 million in volume and $2.1 million in fees.
2. Native Solana Integration
The protocol deployed a Solana integration requiring custom handling of EdDSA signatures and transaction processing. New features like rapid, memoless swaps and a native API reduced reliance on third-party SDKs and improved cross-chain speed and reliability.
3. Planned Sui Support
THORChain’s roadmap now includes Sui alongside Polygon, Cardano and Zcash, aiming to enable native cross-chain swaps for Sui tokens without wrapped assets. Liquidity for Sui is expected to ramp up once technical integration and node stability milestones are met.
