TotalEnergies enters 26 Chevron-operated offshore exploration blocks in US
TTE•TotalEnergies acquired a 25% working interest in 26 Chevron-operated US offshore exploration leases. Chevron acquired a 75% operated interest from TotalEnergies in two adjacent exploration leases.
1. Offshore lease interests
TotalEnergies acquired a 25% working interest in 26 Chevron-operated exploration leases offshore the United States. The leases include 24 blocks in the Green Canyon area and two in the Walker Ridge area, located 150 to 250 km from shore.
2. Chevron interests
Chevron acquired from TotalEnergies a 75% operated interest in two exploration leases adjacent to existing jointly held exploration leases.
