TotalEnergies renews Abu Dhabi Umm Shaif and Nasr offshore concession for 40-year term
TTE•Umm Shaif and Nasr concession renewed for 40 years
TotalEnergies reached final investment decision on the Umm Shaif Gas Cap development in Abu Dhabi’s Umm Shaif and Nasr offshore concession, where it holds a 20% stake.
The concession was awarded in 2018 for a 40-year term; partners include ADNOC at 60% as operator, CNPC at 10%, and Eni at 10%.
The project targets more than 600 million cubic feet per day of gas by 2030, with potential to scale to 1.5 billion cubic feet per day.
