- TotalEnergies signed a deal to buy Shell’s entire onshore renewables business in Europe, covering a 4 GW portfolio.
- Assets include 500 MW of solar and wind operating or under construction, mainly in Italy and the Netherlands.
- The package also includes a 3.5 GW pipeline spanning solar, wind, battery storage across Italy, the UK, Spain.
- Completion is expected by end-2026, subject to regulatory clearances.
- Separately, it agreed to sell KKR a 50% stake in a 1.2 GW renewables portfolio at an enterprise value of EUR 1.8 billion.
