The Board of Directors has appointed Adam D. Zambanini, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, as President and Chief Executive Officer and board member effective April 28, 2026. Bryan H. Fairbanks will retire from his CEO and president roles on the same date and serve as an outside consultant thereafter to support a smooth transition.

Fairbanks has led Trex for six years as CEO and contributed nearly 23 years to the company, overseeing market expansion, strategic investments and the development of its leading composite decking and railing portfolio. Under his leadership, Trex enhanced its distribution network across six continents and delivered above-market returns for investors.

Zambanini brings more than 20 years at Trex, having served as EVP and COO since October 2023, President of Residential Products and Vice President of Marketing. He has driven product roadmaps, operational execution and market growth initiatives and was instrumental in strategic planning alongside the outgoing CEO.

The internal succession underscores Trex’s commitment to continuity in its growth strategy and innovation pipeline. Investors will monitor Zambanini’s ability to sustain Trex’s strong financial profile and market leadership in wood-alternative decking products.
