Albertsons California outlets stocked recalled Genova tuna cans over botulism defect
Tri-Union Seafoods accidentally supplied quarantined Genova tuna cans to Albertsons, Safeway and Vons stores in California, originally recalled in February 2025 over botulism seal defects. Although no illnesses have been reported, the mislabeled cans bearing codes S84N D2L, S84N D3L and S88N may harm ACI’s customer trust and sales.
