Trinity Biotech wins European patent for PrePsia preeclampsia screening platform

Trinity Biotech received a European patent covering blood pressure-related metrics for its PrePsia early preeclampsia prediction platform.
The PrePsia portfolio now totals nine granted patents across Europe and the U.S.
The test is being developed for early screening of pregnancies at increased risk of preterm preeclampsia.
Launch is planned through its New York State Department of Health-approved reference laboratory.
