Brazilian Senator Flavio Bolsonaro said Trump's remarks about the election showed what he called Lula's growing isolation on the world stage. “The world is eager for change in Brazil,” Bolsonaro told reporters.
Trump described Sunday's vote as “close, but a very, very big victory. Amazing, actually.” The vote sent Bolsonaro to an October 25 runoff against incumbent Lula. Bolsonaro said he would seek to cut payroll taxes and reduce the overall tax burden if elected.
