TSN•Tyson Foods lowers fiscal 2026 outlook
Tyson Foods on Thursday cut its profit forecast for a second time within a month and also lowered its annual sales target, blaming increased pressure in its beef segment due to expected lower cattle prices.
The company now expects fiscal 2026 adjusted operating income of $1.85 billion to $2.05 billion, compared with an earlier target of $2.1 billion to $2.3 billion, which it shared on August 3.
It also expects fiscal 2026 revenue growth of 1.5% to 2.0%, compared with 2.5% to 3.5% expected in August.
