TSN•Tyson Foods restructures beef network
Tyson Foods launched a restructuring of its beef network, including plans to sell its Pasco, Washington, beef facility.
Operations will end at the Joslin, Illinois, beef plant and the Eagle Mountain, Utah, case-ready facility.
Beef production will be anchored at Dakota City, Nebraska; Holcomb, Kansas; and Amarillo, Texas amid a historic US cattle shortage.
A second shift will restart at the Amarillo plant as cattle supplies improve.
