U POWER Limited secured an order for 1,000 heavy-duty battery-swapping trucks in Thailand and completed production of the first batch. Its Hong Kong taxi battery-swapping project is set to finish station deployment and launch operations in Q2 2026, marking its first full commercial rollout in Asia outside mainland China.

U POWER Limited captured an order for 1,000 heavy-duty battery-swapping trucks from Susco Public Company and Whale Logistics Group, completing production of the first batch to support commercial operations across Thailand.
2. Hong Kong Taxi Project Set for Q2 2026 Launch
After completing its first commercial demonstration station and obtaining vehicle certifications under Transport Department requirements, the company plans to deploy full taxi battery-swapping services in Hong Kong in the second quarter of 2026.
3. International Expansion and Commercialization Strategy
Since 2020 U POWER has scaled its UOTTA battery-swapping solution in mainland China, Phuket and Thailand, leveraging an AI-driven energy management system and strategic partnerships to advance its global footprint in commercial vehicle electrification.
