UAE's Fujairah oil inventories fall 749,000 barrels in week ended October 12
USO•Total oil product inventories at the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone fell by 749,000 barrels to 6.825 million barrels in the week ended October 12. Residual fuel stocks dropped 1.432 million barrels, while light and middle distillate inventories rose by 201,000 and 482,000 barrels, respectively.
1. Weekly inventory changes
The Fujairah Oil Industry Zone reported total oil product inventories of 6.825 million barrels for the week ended October 12, down 749,000 barrels from the previous week. Residual fuels fell by 1.432 million barrels to 3.291 million barrels, while light distillates rose by 201,000 barrels to 760,000 barrels and middle distillates increased by 482,000 barrels to 2.774 million barrels.
2. Storage capacity
The zone hosts the Middle East's largest commercial storage capacity for refined products.
