Uber will invest $750 million upfront and an additional $250 million tied to deployment milestones in autonomous trucking startup Waabi as part of a $1 billion fundraise. The partnership targets rollout of over 25,000 robotaxis using Waabi’s simulation-first AI to expand Uber’s global autonomous vehicle network.
