Pony.ai to Deploy 3,000 Robotaxis via Uber Platform, Launching in Zagreb
Pony.ai will more than double its robotaxi fleet to over 3,000 units across 20 cities, including its first European deployment in Zagreb via Uber's ride-hailing platform. It posted Q4 net profit of $75.5 million as fare revenue grew sixfold and fleet size rose to 1,446 from under 300.

Pony.ai has partnered with Croatian startup Verne to integrate its robotaxi fleet into Uber's ride-hailing platform across more than 20 cities, beginning with the inaugural launch in Zagreb.

The company achieved its first profitable quarter in Q4 with a net income of $75.5 million, driven by fair value gains and a sixfold increase in fare revenue, as fleet count rose to 1,446 from under 300 vehicles.
3. Global Expansion Roadmap
Pony.ai plans to exceed 3,000 deployed robotaxis this year and introduce seventh-generation vehicles in major European cities on a small scale before scaling partnerships with local automakers for large-scale commercialization.
