Uber has entered a binding agreement to acquire Getir’s delivery portfolio in Türkiye, encompassing food, grocery, retail and water service verticals. This transaction, which remains subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions, marks a significant expansion of Uber’s international delivery footprint.

2. Integration Plan and Consumer Benefits

Upon closing, Getir’s operations and Trendyol Go will be integrated into Uber’s platform, enabling consumers to access a unified app experience. The merger is designed to boost order volumes for restaurants and retailers while preserving Getir’s Super App and delivering additional restaurant options via Trendyol Go.

3. Financial Position and Funding

Uber held $7.105 billion in cash and cash equivalents as of December 31, 2025, providing ample liquidity to support this strategic expansion. The company anticipates that the acquisition will strengthen its ultrafast delivery capabilities and drive longer-term growth in a high-potential market.
