Udemy to Release Q4 and Full-Year 2025 Results Feb 5, Skips Call for Coursera Merger

UDMYUDMY

Udemy’s report with Indeed finds employees allocate 67.5% of upskilling to AI—95% among tech workers—versus AI in only 4% of job listings. Udemy will report Q4 and full-year 2025 results on February 5, 2026 without hosting an earnings call due to its pending merger with Coursera.

1. Udemy and Indeed Research Exposes Employer–Worker Skills Disconnect

Udemy partnered with Indeed to analyze job postings and employee learning data across Australia, India, the UK and the US from September 2023 to September 2025. The report found that just 4% of job listings mention AI, yet 67.5% of worker upskilling efforts focus on AI technologies. In the technology sector, 95% of employee learning is AI-related despite only 17.5% of fast-growing tech job postings requiring these skills. Manufacturing employees allocate 60% of their learning time to AI despite zero AI mentions in top job postings, while professional services employers lead hiring for AI across all markets. The mismatch highlights a trend of workers future-proofing their skill sets more aggressively than organizations are adapting their hiring practices.

2. Soft Skills Remain a Critical Blind Spot for Learners

While communication, critical thinking and leadership rank among the fastest-growing skills in employer demand, Udemy’s data show these soft skills barely feature in the platform’s fastest-growing learning topics. Employees are prioritizing emerging technical capabilities—particularly AI fluency—over foundational soft skills. Udemy’s CEO Hugo Sarrazin emphasizes that organizations which realign hiring strategies to include both adaptive soft skills and advanced technical expertise will secure top talent and drive sustainable growth in an AI-driven economy.

3. Q4 and Full Year 2025 Financial Results Announcement

Udemy announced it will report its fourth quarter and full year 2025 financial results after market close on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Due to the pending merger with Coursera, which remains subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, the company will not host an earnings conference call. The earnings release will be made available on Udemy’s Investor Relations website under the “Quarterly Results” section immediately following market close.
