UFP Packaging introduced two new nail-gun-free crate systems: Slot-Lock and Clamp-Lock 100. Slot-Lock uses CNC-routed interlocking wooden panels secured with strapping, tailored for aerospace, defense and medical equipment. Clamp-Lock 100 features patent-pending steel L-bracket fasteners designed for manual assembly of commercial machinery, building materials and infrastructure components.

Both systems eliminate the need for pneumatic nail or staple guns, reducing workplace hazards and streamlining assembly. Each crate can be disassembled without damaging panels or fasteners, promoting component reuse and cutting packaging waste. Slot-Lock and Clamp-Lock 100 exceed industry safety standards without compromising strength or durability.

These launches expand UFP’s pneumatic-free product line alongside the U-Loc 200 added in 2025 and showcase the company’s in-house engineering capabilities. Customizable configurations allow customers to optimize each system for specific payloads and handling requirements. The innovations aim to bolster UFP’s market position in industrial packaging solutions.
