UiPath CFO/COO Ashim Gupta highlighted the company’s $1.5–$1.8 billion annual recurring revenue, split evenly between domestic and international markets. He traced UiPath’s growth from a Romanian apartment start-up of eight people to an industry-leading RPA provider since achieving product-market fit in 2015.
1. Company Overview from Needham Presentation
At the 28th Annual Needham Growth Conference, UiPath’s CFO and COO Ashim Gupta detailed the company’s origin and ascent. Founded by Daniel Dines in Romania with just eight people working out of an apartment, UiPath achieved product–market fit in 2015 by focusing on core robotic process automation (RPA). Entering the market as the third or fourth RPA vendor, the company committed years to refining its underlying computer models, ultimately positioning itself as the leader in every major industry quadrant and driving robust global adoption.
2. Scale and Financial Footprint
UiPath reported annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeding $1.8 billion, with exactly half generated domestically and half internationally across sectors including financial services, healthcare and manufacturing. Gupta emphasized that the platform’s ability to emulate human actions has enabled enterprises to automate mission-critical workflows at scale, supporting UiPath’s climb to the top of Gartner and Forrester evaluations and underpinning its sustained revenue growth trajectory.
