MHRA authorises orforglipron in the UK

Aug 10 (Reuters) - UK's MHRA:

UK’s MHRA authorised orforglipron (Foundayo), making the UK the first country in Europe to approve this GLP-1 tablet for weight management and type 2 diabetes.
UK’s MHRA said orforglipron is not currently available via the NHS; NHS use decisions will follow NICE evaluation.
The MHRA said it will keep the safety and effectiveness of orforglipron under close review.
