Ultragenyx agreed to sell an FDA Priority Review Voucher for $210 million in cash. Under a licensing agreement, the company will pay 20% of the proceeds to the U.S. National Institutes of Health after the deal closes.
2. Genglycos approval
Ultragenyx received the voucher when the FDA approved Genglycos, its treatment for glycogen storage disease type Ia, also known as Von Gierke disease. Genglycos has a U.S. per-patient list price of $2.7 million.
