Ultralife Q2 FY26 GAAP EPS rises to $0.15; revenue falls 1.3% to $47.9 million

Backlog rose to a record $117.5 million; Communications Systems revenue increased 39.3% to $3.75 million.
CEO Mike Manna said Communications Systems is positioned for gains as new products move through capture, with multiple launches planned later this year.
Q2 results show higher earnings despite lower revenue
Ultralife posted Q2 GAAP EPS of $0.15, up from $0.05 a year earlier; net income attributable to shareholders rose to $2.54 million.
Revenue slipped 1.3% to $47.9 million, while gross margin widened 5 percentage points to 28.9% on favorable mix and an IEEPA tariff refund.
Operating income climbed to $3.44 million despite $0.9 million of one-time costs; GAAP gross profit increased to $13.87 million.
