United Bankshares expands into Florida with Palm Beach office plan
UBSI•United Bankshares plans to open a full-service office at 218 Royal Palm Way on Palm Beach Island, subject to regulatory approval.
1. Palm Beach expansion
The planned office will offer commercial and private banking, wealth management, treasury services and lending. Market President Terence Callahan will lead the Palm Beach market and build the franchise across South Florida, while Chief Investment Officer Chris Battifarano will lead hiring for a local wealth management team.
