United Parks And Resorts posted Q2 net income of $63.27 million, down 21% year over year, as operating income fell 16.6% to $117.11 million.
Revenue dipped 1.4% to $483.32 million, with admissions down 4.6% to $244.08 million on 2.9% lower attendance of 6,055,000.
Revenue mix and costs
Food, merchandise and other revenue rose 2% to $239.24 million as in-park per capita spending increased 5.1% to $39.51.
Operating expenses climbed 5.3% to $215.72 million, driven by $4.1 million in non-recurring third-party labor and consulting tied to winter-freeze damage in Florida parks.
