In Q2 2026, United States Antimony delivered two shipments totaling ~82,000 pounds of antimony metal ingots to the Defense Logistics Agency, generating ~$2.6 million in invoices. Two additional shipments await government inspection and authorization, bringing total contract orders to date to $57.3 million.
2. Smelter Expansion in Thompson Falls
The company commissioned new smeltering furnaces at its Thompson Falls, Montana facility during Q2 2026, boosting production capacity. These furnaces are designed to process antimony feedstock more efficiently, positioning the company to meet increasing government demand under its supply contract.
3. Feedstock Supply Logistics
Antimony flake feedstock deliveries were delayed by diesel shortages in Bolivia caused by regional conflicts, impacting the Hydromet facility’s output. The diesel issue has been mitigated and regular feedstock shipments have resumed, improving the timing and efficiency of finished product production.
