Ur-Energy Ships 100th Yellowcake Delivery, Surpasses 3.5M Pounds U₃O₈
URG•Ur-Energy completed its 100th yellowcake shipment from Lost Creek on June 11 and has now shipped over 3.5 million pounds of U₃O₈ since operations began in 2013. The company’s Shirley Basin ISR facility began operations in April 2026, giving Ur-Energy a combined licensed annual capacity of 4.2 million pounds U₃O₈.

Ur-Energy completed its 100th U₃O₈ shipment from the Lost Creek ISR facility on June 11, bringing total production to over 3.5 million pounds since 2013. This achievement highlights a decade of safe, reliable yellowcake deliveries supporting the U.S. nuclear fuel market.
2. Shirley Basin Facility Launch
The Shirley Basin ISR project initiated operations in April 2026, establishing Ur-Energy’s second low-cost uranium production site. Early ramps at Shirley Basin are expected to mirror Lost Creek’s operational efficiency and strengthen overall output.
3. Combined Capacity and Strategic Outlook
Lost Creek and Shirley Basin together hold a combined licensed production and toll processing capacity of 4.2 million pounds U₃O₈ annually. Ur-Energy plans to leverage this scale to address rising demand for domestically sourced uranium and expand its market leadership.
