Urban Outfitters reported net sales of $1.80 billion for the quarter ended January 31, marking a 10.1% increase year-over-year and net income of $96.3 million. Adjusted diluted EPS rose to $1.43, up from $1.04 in the prior-year period.

2. Retail Segment Performance

Retail segment net sales climbed 7.7% to $1.57 billion, with comparable retail sales up 5.5% driven by mid-single-digit growth in both digital channels and brick-and-mortar stores. Namesake Urban Outfitters stores led gains with a 9.6% comparable increase, followed by Free People at 5.2% and Anthropologie at 3.7%.

3. Subscription Segment Surge

Subscription net sales jumped 42.6% to $160.5 million, propelled by a 40.3% rise in Nuuly active subscribers. The apparel rental business’s double-digit subscriber growth remains a key driver of overall revenue momentum.

4. Wholesale Segment and Annual Overview

Wholesale sales rose 9.1% to $74.8 million, led by a 10.2% increase in Free People shipments to specialty customers. For the fiscal year, total net sales reached a record $6.17 billion, up 11.1%, while adjusted EPS climbed to $5.44 from $4.03.
