US crude and gasoline inventories rise, distillate fall - EIA

U.S. crude and gasoline inventories rose while distillate stockpiles fell last week, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.
Crude inventories rose by 4.4 million barrels to 428.8 million barrels in the week ended August 14, the EIA said.
Crude stocks at the Cushing, Oklahoma, delivery hub USOICC=ECI fell by 1.3 million barrels in the week, the EIA said.
Refinery crude runs USOICR=ECI rose by 216,000 barrels per day, the EIA said, while utilization rates USOIRU=ECI rose by 1 percentage point in the week.
U.S. gasoline stocks USOILG=ECI rose by 0.7 million barrels in the week to 209.4 million barrels, the EIA said.
Distillate stockpiles USOILD=ECI, which include diesel and heating oil, fell by 1.5 million barrels in the week to 105.6 million barrels.
Net U.S. crude imports USOICI=ECI fell by 1.75 million barrels per day, the EIA said.
