US GoldMining said Alaska’s AIDEA has authorized up to $25 million for West Susitna Access Road pre-construction work.
The funding targets geotechnical drilling, permitting, hydrologic studies and engineering work for the 2026-2027 field seasons to advance final road design.
The planned corridor would link the Whistler gold-copper project area to Anchorage-region highway, rail, power and port infrastructure.
Project scope covers a 22-mile state-led public road and a 78.5-mile AIDEA-led public-private road ending near Whistler.
