U.S. stock index futures moved higher after a cooler-than-anticipated inflation reading lifted hopes the Federal Reserve might not raise interest rates as soon as next month. Boeing rose after landing a $20 billion U.S. Navy fighter jet contract, Robinhood gained as weekend stock trading expanded its 24-hour push, and Lumentum rose after Bernstein initiated coverage with an “outperform” rating. Concentrix slid after a $1.05 billion charge drove a third-quarter loss; GameStop rose after its CEO bought another $10.5 million of stock; Pyxis Oncology dropped on a $110 million stock-and-warrants deal; and Cal-Maine Foods fell after posting a quarterly loss.
