Veea to Power AIoT Monitoring of 8.68M-Hectare Kayan Conservation Concession
VEEA•Veea Inc will deploy its AIoT of Forest edge-computing network across Kayan’s 8.68-million-hectare concession in Indonesia, enabling continuous digital measurement, reporting and verification for carbon, biodiversity and blue carbon credits. The technology underpins the project’s tokenization ahead of an August 2026 institutional-grade exchange listing.
1. Deployment of AIoT of Forest
Veea has been appointed to install its AIoT of Forest solution across the Kayan Conservation Concession’s 8.68 million hectares under a 60-year operating agreement. The deployment leverages VeeaONE’s distributed edge-computing nodes, wide-area mesh networking and satellite links to create a live digital twin of rainforest, peatland and mangrove ecosystems.
2. Technology Integration and Capabilities
The system combines edge computing with agentic AI, real-time sensor data and decentralized validation to enable continuous digital measurement, reporting and verification (dMRV). This framework supports independent issuance of carbon, biodiversity and blue carbon credits by tracking environmental outputs at granular scale.
3. Strategic Impact on Veea’s Business
This contract positions Veea as a key infrastructure provider for natural capital tokenization and real-world asset markets. Successful deployment could drive future partnerships and recurring revenue from institutional-grade monitoring solutions ahead of the project’s August 2026 exchange listing.
