Venezuela signs offshore gas field pact with BP, XRG and UCC

CARACAS, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Venezuelan officials on Thursday signed an agreement for the development of the Loran offshore gas field with British energy producer BP; investment firm XRG, owned by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC); and the oil and gas unit of Qatar's conglomerate UCC Holding, oil minister Paula Henao said.
