VEON•VEON’s Beeline Uzbekistan will become anchor tenant at DataVolt’s new Tashkent IT Park data center under agreed commercial terms, securing substantial capacity in TAS-1. A separate non-binding MoU will evaluate joint development of a potential data center in Bukhara, expanding digital infrastructure across Uzbekistan.
1. MoU Establishes TAS-1 Anchor Tenant Role
Under the first memorandum, Beeline Uzbekistan will commit to a significant capacity allocation within DataVolt’s flagship TAS-1 facility in Tashkent, securing priority access to one of the region’s most advanced data centers under defined commercial terms. This move anchors VEON’s local data hosting capabilities and supports expansion of its digital services portfolio.
2. Feasibility Study for Bukhara Data Center
The second non-binding MoU sets out a framework for joint evaluation of a potential new data center in Bukhara, covering planning, investment assessment and operational considerations. This exploratory agreement positions VEON and DataVolt to collaborate on future infrastructure that could strengthen data localization and service resilience.
