Q2 results and cash position
Verastem posted Q2 GAAP net loss of $34.7 million, or $0.35 per share, versus a $25.9 million loss a year earlier.
Revenue climbed to $40.1 million from $2.1 million; net product revenue rose to $25.1 million from $2.1 million.
Operating expenses increased to $72.8 million from $45.9 million, driven by higher R&D costs and commercial operations spending.
The company ended Q2 with $136.4 million in cash, cash equivalents and investments; pro forma cash was $201.4 million including $50 million Oberland financing and a $15 million COPIKTRA milestone.
