ZenaTech begins flight testing Interceptor P-1 counter-drone platform, targets price under USD 5,000

The prototype was disclosed in March 2026 with a target selling price below USD 5,000, and is being positioned as a lower-cost alternative to missile defenses.

Phoenix Aero, a Ukrainian entity in Lviv, was registered in April 2026 to support future manufacturing and testing.

Later 2026 phases are expected to target autonomous pursuit, moving-target intercepts, multi-drone scenarios and integration with Zena AI Counter-UAS command software.

ZenaTech said it has started flight testing for the Interceptor P-1, a VTOL one-way autonomous counter-UAS interceptor drone.

Testing near Mesa, Arizona is targeting VTOL performance, high-speed maneuverability, autonomous functions, guidance, target tracking and communications reliability.
