Veraxa Biotech's BiTAC-ADC shows tumor regression in preclinical breast cancer study
VRXA•Veraxa Biotech said a single 3 mg/kg dose of its BiTAC-ADC produced strong tumor regression in a breast cancer xenograft model, with efficacy comparable to a conventional ADC and no body weight decline in the treatment group.
1. Preclinical results
Veraxa Biotech presented initial animal proof-of-concept results for its BiTAC-ADC platform on October 13, 2026, at the World ADC Congress. Laboratory studies found both components must reach tumor cells to activate toxicity, with no active toxins released in the periphery; treatment with only one targeted component produced no significant effect. The company said BiTAC-TCEs remain its development priority, while the ADC results support a potential second research and partnering focus.
