Verisk bought McKenzie Intelligence Services, a geospatial intelligence and event response firm focused on real-time catastrophe and conflict analysis.
The deal expands Verisk’s Catastrophe and Risk Solutions with faster pre-event alerts and post-event, property-level damage assessment for insurers and reinsurers.
The acquisition adds incident-level SRCC and political violence risk intelligence designed to activate during unfolding events.
MIS will be integrated with Verisk catastrophe models, risk analytics, and claims tools, including the Synergy Studio platform.
The transaction is not expected to be material to financial results.
