Verizon’s Q4 2025 adjusted EPS of $1.09 topped $1.06 estimates, with $36.4B revenue, 616,000 postpaid phone net additions and 372,000 broadband net adds. It forecasts 2026 adjusted EPS of $4.90–$4.95, free cash flow above $21.5B, and 750,000–1M retail postpaid net additions.

1. Strong Q4 Performance Driven by Subscriber Growth

Verizon reported fourth-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $1.09, surpassing consensus estimates by three cents, while total operating revenue reached $36.4 billion, beating forecasts by $300 million. The company added 616,000 postpaid phone customers—the highest quarterly gain since 2019—and delivered 372,000 broadband net additions, including 319,000 fixed wireless access and 67,000 Fios internet connections. Wireless service revenue rose 1.1% year-over-year to $21.0 billion and equipment revenue climbed 9.1% to $8.2 billion, underscoring demand across both mobility and broadband segments.

2. Optimistic 2026 Outlook with Accelerating Cash Flow

Verizon projected 2026 adjusted EPS of $4.90 to $4.95, outpacing analysts’ consensus of $4.76, and forecast total mobility and broadband service revenue growth of 2.0% to 3.0%, equating to roughly $93 billion. The company anticipates free cash flow of at least $21.5 billion—up about 7% from 2025—and operating cash flow of $37.5 billion to $38 billion. Management also sees retail postpaid phone net additions of 750,000 to 1.0 million, two to three times last year’s result, signaling a meaningful acceleration in volume growth.

3. Investment in Network Resilience and Fiber Expansion

Capital expenditures are guided to $16.0 billion to $16.5 billion in 2026, including at least 2.0 million new fiber passings, following the recent Frontier acquisition that scales fiber access to over 30 million homes and businesses. Verizon has boosted winter storm resilience through additional mobile assets, backup power and dedicated crisis teams. These investments aim to sustain network excellence, support customer retention and drive longer-term revenue growth across both consumer and enterprise markets.
