Verizon Eliminates $40 Upgrade and Activation Fees, Launches 3% Back Loyalty
VZ•Verizon has scrapped up to $40 in activation and upgrade fees for postpaid customers and launched a loyalty program granting 3% back in Verizon Dollars, redeemable for devices or brands. It also introduced the Simplicity Plan with 5G for all users and the One Plan combining Mobility and Home services.
1. Loyalty Program and Fee Eliminations

3. Simplified Plan Structures Launched
Verizon rolled out the Simplicity Plan, which offers a single 5G network tier for all subscribers without hidden fees, and introduced the One Plan, combining Mobility and Home services on a single bill with taxes and fees included. These plans streamline choices and billing for both new and existing customers.
4. Verizon Shine Sweepstakes for Experiences
Verizon Shine delivers weekly and daily surprises, including once-in-a-lifetime experiences like trips to the FIFA World Cup final, VIP festival access and meet-and-greets with top artists. Customers on any plan can enter each Monday for exclusive travel, event and cultural experiences.
