1. Leadership Transition
Verra Mobility’s board has installed Jon Keyser as interim President and CEO effective immediately, with David Roberts stepping down as CEO and director after 12 years, including leading the company’s public listing. The board determined a change in leadership was necessary to realign the cost structure and prepare the business for its next growth phase.
2. Board Search for Permanent CEO
The board has retained a leading global executive search firm to conduct a comprehensive search for a permanent CEO, considering both internal and external candidates. Focus areas for the new leader include expanding technology solutions, navigating evolving market conditions across the United States, Australia, Europe and Canada, and enhancing shareholder value.
3. Interim CEO Mandate
Jon Keyser has been Chief Transformation Officer since 2025 and Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer since 2022, driving cost optimization and government solutions growth. As interim CEO, he plans to broaden and deepen customer relationships, reduce operational costs and position Verra Mobility for scalable future growth and value creation.
