Vertex said interim ALYFTREK data presented at the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference showed some children with cystic fibrosis ages 2 to 5 regained pancreatic function. Some participants stopped pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy during the open-label extension; use in patients under 6 remains investigational.
