EVTL•Vertical Aerospace joins Project VERTI-GO consortium
Vertical Aerospace joined Honeywell-led, EU-funded Project VERTI-GO consortium to develop operating frameworks for piloted eVTOLs in European airspace.
The program centers on simulations, automation tools, digital flight planning, vertiport management, and emergency landing site processes.
Vertical will serve as the piloted eVTOL demonstration partner, with prototype flight demos planned between Malaga and Marbella in 2028.
The consortium aims to support EASA’s Innovative Air Mobility framework, accelerating commercialization of advanced air mobility at scale in Europe.
