Vertiv Debuts Next Predict AI Service Supporting BESS and Liquid Cooling

VRTVRT

Vertiv has launched Vertiv™ Next Predict, an AI-powered managed service that uses anomaly detection and predictive algorithms to monitor power, cooling and IT assets before failures occur. The service currently supports battery energy storage solutions and liquid cooling platforms and is designed to scale with future data center technologies.

1. Vertiv Launches AI-Powered Predictive Maintenance Service

Vertiv today unveiled Vertiv™ Next Predict, a managed service that leverages machine learning models and two decades of field expertise to forecast equipment failures across power, cooling and IT systems. The service continuously ingests real-time sensor data from UPS units, CRAC systems and battery energy storage solutions to detect anomalies 30 to 60 days before thresholds are breached. Following risk assessment, the platform prescribes targeted corrective actions, which Vertiv technicians execute under pre-negotiated service contracts. Designed for data centers handling AI workloads, Next Predict currently supports over 15 major hardware platforms and can scale seamlessly to integrate future liquid-cooling modules and edge deployments, helping operators improve uptime metrics by up to 25%.

2. International Expansion Boosts Backlog and Organic Growth

Vertiv’s overseas momentum accelerated in Q4, driven by AI-induced demand in Asia Pacific and EMEA. The company reported a backlog increase to $9.5 billion at year end, up 18% sequentially, and expects high-density solutions to sustain double-digit organic revenue growth through FY 2026. In China, orders for power distribution units rose 40% quarter-over-quarter, while cooling system bookings in Europe expanded by 28%, reflecting strong enterprise investment in AI training clusters. Management highlighted that cross-border service contracts now account for 22% of service revenues, up from 15% a year ago, underscoring the scalability of Vertiv’s integrated infrastructure offering.

3. Q4 2025 Earnings Release and 2026 Investor Conference Announced

Vertiv will report fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results before market open on February 11, 2026, followed by a conference call at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, with replay available for 30 days.
