1. Vertiv Introduces Vertiv™ MegaMod™ HDX for High-Density AI and HPC Deployments
Vertiv unveiled new configurations of its prefabricated power and liquid cooling infrastructure solution, Vertiv™ MegaMod™ HDX, engineered to deliver up to 10 MW of capacity and support rack densities from 50 kW to over 100 kW per rack. The compact model features a standard module height supporting up to 13 racks and 1.25 MW of power, while the extended-height combo design accommodates up to 144 racks and 10 MW. Both versions integrate direct-to-chip liquid cooling with air-cooled architectures, include distributed redundant power modules for uninterrupted operation, and deploy prefabricated pods that can be factory tested for repeatable precision. Available in North America, EMEA and APAC, MegaMod HDX addresses the surge in AI and high-performance computing workloads by providing accelerated deployment, space optimization and cost certainty for data center operators.
2. Financial Momentum Fueled by AI-Infrastructure Demand
Vertiv’s specialty in critical digital infrastructure has driven substantial top-line growth, with adjusted EPS up 63% year-over-year in the recent quarter and management raising full-year revenue guidance to $10.2 billion and EPS guidance to $4.10. A book-to-bill ratio of 1.4x underpins a backlog of $9.5 billion, reflecting robust order momentum in hyperscale and cloud data center projects. Approximately 80% of revenue derives from data center customers, with AI-fueled cooling and power solutions at the core of that mix. The company’s top-ranked style score for growth stocks from Zacks underscores strong earnings revisions and accelerated analyst estimates, positioning Vertiv as a market leader in the expanding AI infrastructure ecosystem.
