Veterinary diagnostics maker IDEXX raises annual profit forecast on pet healthcare testing demand

- IDEXX raised its 2026 profit forecast to $14.69 to $14.94 per share from $14.45 to $14.90 per share previously. The midpoint of the new range is about $14.82, above analysts' estimate of $14.65, according to data compiled by LSEG.
- CEO Mike Erickson said innovation across the company's veterinary diagnostic platforms, including its in-clinic testing platform IDEXX inVue Dx, supported greater customer adoption and diagnostic utilization.
- It narrowed its annual revenue forecast to $4.70 billion to $4.75 billion from $4.68 billion to $4.76 billion previously, lifting the midpoint by $5 million to about $4.72 billion despite a $15 million foreign exchange headwind. The midpoint is slightly above analysts' estimate of $4.71 billion.
