Viasat wins USD 42 million Marine Corps satellite services task order

Delivery includes managed SATCOM capacity via L-, Ku-, Ka-band services, backed by Viasat’s Ka-band network, including ViaSat-3 satellites.
The service package also provides 24/7 network operations, security operations support, bandwidth management, monitoring, cybersecurity and data transport to the Marine Corps network.
Contract award and scope
ViaSat won a $42 million initial task order under a seven-year U.S. Marine Corps MECS2 IDIQ with a $307 million ceiling.
Work covers fully managed, end-to-end global satellite connectivity services to support Marine Corps enterprise communications across multiple orbits.
