VIAVI Adds Software-Keyed TETRA MS Simulator to CX300 for Faster Testing
VIAV•VIAVI Solutions introduced a software-keyed TETRA MS base station simulator option for its portable CX300, enabling full parametric testing and BER/MER loopback without placing radios in T1 test mode. The upgrade runs on existing hardware, accelerating mission-critical radio validation with call processing and modulation accuracy measurements.

VIAVI Solutions has launched a TETRA MS base station simulator option for its CX300 field-portable communication service monitor. The software-keyed upgrade requires no new hardware and integrates directly into existing CX300 units.
2. Technical Features
The TETRA MS option enables transmitter parametric measurements—including power profile, RF power, carrier frequency offset, burst timing and modulation accuracy—plus call processing and receiver BER/MER loopback tests without T1 mode.
